Chicken Soup and a Plan

Happy Monday! Okay, I was reading my boyfriend’s blog(side notes: he’s a genius, very good looking and his blog is wonderful-check it out: http://davidjgarcia.com/blog/); it challenged communicators to blog everyday for a month. As a copywriter and communicator, I have decided to accept the challenge.

I was pondering how best to go about this and I decided to have daily themes:

Manic Monday: Sometimes coherent, always random ramblings
Travel Tuesday: Stories from my many travel adventures
Whimsical Wednesday: Explorations of Harry Potter quotes and themes
Thinking Cap Thursday: Favorite quotes from fabulous authors
Fun Friday: Jokes, silly stories and fun things
Serendipitous Saturday: Delightful surprises
Celestial Sunday: Hymns and pretty songs

This Manic Monday is clearly an explanation of my plot for January. Also, I decided to throw in a soup recipe. I came down with a cold(apparently when you hang out with your sick boyfriend, you end up catching his cold-who would of thought?) and my mommy gave me a recipe, so I’m sharing.

Chicken Noodle Soup:

1) Boil chicken (a dead and de-feathered one, that is-Californians, just go to the store and pick up the meat in the freezer section; Texans, pick the chicken that is most annoying, and use that one for the soup)

1.5) (Cheat: Buy pre-cooked chicken and throw in a pot with hot water)

2) Add chicken bouillon for flavor

3) Add peas, spaghetti noodles, carrots, onions, zucchinis and other veggies that you like

4) Add any favorite seasonings

5) Voila! You have made chicken noodle soup-guaranteed to heal any cold for at least 10 minutes. Eat as hot as you can stand and enjoy the health.
